Zvezdana Seeger, Head of the Systems Integration business unit and member of the highest management committee at T-Systems, is leaving Deutsche Telekom's business customer arm for personal reasons as of today. The 44-year-old macroeconomist previously requested that the T-Systems Supervisory Board terminates her contract.
"We respect, but very much regret, this decision. Zvezdana Seeger took over a difficult task in Systems Integration two and a half years ago, and since then has successfully managed the business unit," said Reinhard Clemens, Member of the Deutsche Telekom Board of Management responsible for Business Customers, and CEO of T-Systems. "We thank Ms. Seeger sincerely for her many extremely successful years with the Group and T-Systems, and wish her all the best for the future."
Alongside her role in Systems Integration, Zvezdana Seeger was responsible for implementing the strategic partnership with global IT service provider Cognizant. This alliance was the last missing piece of the strategic realignment of Deutsche Telekom's business customer arm. T-Systems is strengthening its global delivery capabilities with Cognizant, and can offer European key accounts global systems integration at more competitive prices than ever before.
Since 1995, Zvezdana Seeger has held various management positions within Deutsche Telekom. As the Chief Information Officer of Toll Collect from March 2004 until her move to Systems Integration, she headed the successful introduction of the first satellite-based toll system. Ms. Seeger also took over as acting Head of Sales and Service for business with international groups and large public institutions for six months from August 1, 2007.
Following Ms. Seeger's departure, Dr. Ferri Abolhassan (44) will take over her position as Chief Systems Integration Officer and continue to be responsible for Systems Integration Sales at T-Systems.
